These Terms of Service govern your use of velorse.com (the "Site") and any purchases made through it. The Site and the Velorse brand are owned and operated by Polka ("we", "us", "our"), with its registered office at Shop No. 4, RK Apartments, 33rd Road, Khar West, Mumbai 400052, India. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site.
2. Products & Pricing
We make every effort to display products and prices accurately. Colours, textures and embellishment placement may vary slightly as each piece is finished by hand. Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice.
3. Orders & Acceptance
Submission of an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Polka reserves the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including for reasons of stock availability, suspected fraud, failed verification or pricing errors.
4. Order Verification
To reduce fraud and Return-to-Origin losses, every order — particularly Cash on Delivery — is verified by our team via IVR call and/or WhatsApp before it is dispatched. If we are unable to verify the order within 48 hours of placement, we reserve the right to cancel it.
5. Payment & COD Extra Charge
Payments are processed securely via our PCI-compliant payment partners. We do not store full card details on our servers.
Cash on Delivery (COD): a ₹50 extra charge is collected online at the time of placing a COD order. This is a non-refundable convenience fee for providing COD service. It is separate from the order value and is not adjusted against your order.
- The ₹50 is forfeited if you refuse delivery, are unreachable on 3 delivery attempts, or the parcel is Returned-to-Origin (RTO) for customer-side reasons.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Replacement Charges

- Our fault (wrong item, defect, size mismatch vs chart): free replacement with reverse pickup at our cost
- Customer's fault (change of mind, wrong size ordered): ₹100 replacement charge applies and customer pays return shipping
- Discounted / final-sale items are not eligible for return, exchange or refund

9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the Velorse name, logos, product imagery and editorial — is the property of Polka and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Reproduction without written consent is prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polka is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or our products.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
